Panther Capital Management, LLC
Panther Capital Management (“Panther” or the “Company”) is a vertically integrated, full service real estate investment and development firm with a decades-long track record of investing in or developing large-scale office, residential, retail and industrial properties.
Panther’s investment team leverages its real estate expertise, comprehensive market knowledge and broad relationship network to source, underwrite, acquire, and execute compelling transactions.
The Company has been successful through its ability to combine opportunistic acquisition philosophies with entrepreneurial value enhancement strategies, and hands-on asset management. Its combination of tested execution capabilities and its in-depth understanding of the forces and dynamics affecting real estate are key factors that differentiate Panther from other industry players.
Panther’s principals have underwritten, acquired, repositioned, and developed approximately $1 billion in real estate assets.
Investment Philosophy and Strategy
While Panther has successfully invested in many domestic markets throughout its history, the Company has primarily invested in select Florida markets that contain highly developed infrastructure, multiple barriers to entry, substantial transaction sizes and sophisticated participants. Today, Panther continues to invest in these select Florida markets including Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe counties as well as Orlando, Tampa, Naples, Ft. Myers and Sarasota in addition to an exclusive list of markets in the Southeast (including Nashville, Atlanta, and Charlotte) and Texas (primarily Austin).
Panther aims to utilize a market neutral investment strategy, focusing on each potential acquisition’s story instead of basing investment decisions solely on general market mechanics. The Company believes that a key factor in its success to date is its proprietary network of institutional and local owners, lenders, brokers and joint-venture partners.
